From start to finish, the consultation felt thoughtful, hygienic and personalised. Nikki made me feel completely at ease, and I would return in a heartbeat for another piercing in their care.

I’ve been getting pierced by Nikki for around 7 or 8 years, and I’ll always choose to travel to Bold and Gold for any new piercing. Nikki creates such a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and somehow makes the whole experience feel easier, even when the piercing itself might usually be uncomfortable. Nikki and the team have always been incredibly helpful in choosing jewellery, often highlighting local artisans, and advising on the perfect placement for both current and future piercings. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I recently got my navel pierced at Bold & Gold studios with Kate. It was such a calm experience and Kate really put me at ease throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to clearly explain the different stages of my appointment from checking if my navel was suitable, different piercing options, choosing jewellery and the actual piercing itself. I loved how she really took the time ensuring the placement was perfect and discussed what placement would look the best.
After I had my piercing done Kate took the time to make sure I was feeling ok before I left and clearly explained all the aftercare information.
It was such a great experience and I love my new piercing too!

I travel a very long way to get my piercings done by Nikki and Kate, because I completely trust them to do an excellent job. The studio is spotless and welcoming, with beautiful jewellery. People working there are inclusive, experienced and knowledgeable. Since 2017 I have had 4 piercings done on 4 separate occasions; they heal well and I'm very happy with the placings/jewellery.
